Grave mound of the Yuan dynasty envoys
At the Jyoryu-ji temple located along the Enoshima road, you
can find a grave mound.

It is a memorial tower for the executed envoys of the Yuan
dynasty that brought the documents on "The Mongol Invasion" that
happened in 1274.

Across the Koushin tower, which says Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, is
the Honren-ji temple.

Koshigoe Shopping Area
Koshigoe is an area which has existed as a fishermen's town
since olden days.In the middle of it runs the Enoden train.100 years have passed
since its service began.

Manpuku-ji Temple
The Enoden runs right in front of the front gateway of
Manpuku-ji temple. It is the temple where Yoshitsune stayed for the night,
because he was refused entry to Kamakura since he upset his older brother,
Yoritomo, by receiving an official rank from the imperial court when he won the
battle of Dannoura.
